This fund is being made in memory of Emily Johnson to provide three scholarships in her name to two seniors at Coal Ridge High School and one Valley-wide senior.
Emily was an outstanding soccer player that not only had passion for the game, but for life itself.
The two soccer scholarships will reward an outstanding soccer player, that also exhibits passion for the game, and the other scholarship will reward a person who best exemplifies their particular passion in life in some creative way, as in a video, or a written essay etc. In addition, there will be other fundraisers to contribute to some of Emily's favorite charities.
