2018 Tesla Model S 100D

Love this car! … replaced with new MS.  Single owner – fast/fun impressive 463hp and 713ft-lbs. of gut-wrenching torque pushing 0-60 in 4.1s through an all-wheel drivetrain.  Premium black interior with figured ash wood decor and dark Alcantara like headliner.  Very comfortable and quiet ride, equipped with Smart Air Suspension.  Incredibly spacious! Powered lift gate with over 58 ft3 cargo space (split rear seats folded) another 2 ft3 in the frunk.  The premium upgrades package includes power/memory everything; Sub Zero Weather package heated front/rear seats, wipers, and steering wheel; HEPA Air Filtration System with Biodefense; and Ultra High Fidelity 12 speaker sound system that’ll roll your socks down!  Also equipped with panoramic glass roof, ultrasonic bumper sensors (removed in later models), high power 72 Amp AC charger (no longer available), and a Sentry mode alarm camera recording system to detect and record people around your car. 

Battery is in excellent condition with 319 miles at full charge.  Battery and drive unit are under warranty till June 2026 with unlimited mileage.  

Car is in excellent overall condition, garaged, never smoked.  The multi coat pearl white metal flake paint looks awesome but does have a few small paint chips.  A tiny rock chip on windshield was repaired 3 years ago and is invisible.  

Tesla’s tech is unmatched.  Comes with all the computer hardware upgrades Tesla has to offer (HW 3 and MCU 2) coupled with lifetime premium connectivity WITHOUT the subscription fees.  

Its June manufacture timeframe hits a Tesla sweet-spot of having both lifetime premium connectivity ($100 yearly subscription service on vehicles after June 2018) and the updated MCU 2 infotainment system ($2250 upgrade cost for vehicles with MCU 1 before March 2018).  So you have lifetime satellite view maps with live traffic, video/music streaming, “Caraoke” and an internet browser, all over wi-fi and cellular at no charge.  All this with a faster screen, Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, etc and numerous games not supported with MCU 1.  

Upgraded to HW3, the autopilot computer is running the latest Full Self Driving (FSD) software (v12.3.4 Supervised) on a trial subscription thru 20 May.  So you won’t have to pay to upgrade the computer (~ $1000) to run FSD software subscription.  This latest FSD is truly amazing and has to be experienced to understand! 

The ultrasonic bumper sensors (removed in later models) are a plus for precise obstacle detection and summon capability (with FSD).  Moving the car in and out of the garage remotely really can come in handy.  Its Sentry mode alarm camera recording system will detect and record people around your car and alarm if they tamper.  The system also real time records all events while driving, just tap the display to save an event that occurred shortly before.  I’ve used this numerous times to capture unusual events. 

The high power 72Amp AC charger allows a near full charge if needed in a few hours.  New models are now 48AMP, many older models are only 40AMP.  A V2 home charger will be needed to use its full capability but I’ve rarely ever needed to charge that much.  Scheduled charging can be set to take advantage of EV power plans.    

Front half shafts (June 2022) and Main and driver displays (May 2022) were replaced under Tesla warranty with improved components.  (Be sure to check for brownish outer edges on displays on used Model S and X’s without this replacement). 

Comes with 2 key fobs, a Tesla sunroof shade, upgraded carpet mats, rubber trunk liner, and a 3rd party removable wireless console phone charger.  

All recommended services are up to date to include new fresh cabin filter.  All services have been performed by Tesla, service records are available upon request.
